Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week! (They actually received their certificates on Friday this week.)

Reception - Charlie has been a super listener all week and especially when making apple crumble today. Well done Charlie!
Year 1 - Mia has tackled tricky maths problems with a smile and been a bundle of joy in Year 1. Well done Mia!
Year 2 - Abigail has been consistently respectful, responsible and ready to work. She has been so kind to everyone. Well done Abigail!
Year 3 - Adeline has given 100% effort in everything that she does and is happy to share her thoughtful ideas. Well done Adeline!
Year 4 - Robyn has shown great enthusiasm and a lovely smile during the practices for our Harvest Performance. Well done Robyn!
Year 5 - Jacob S has been a great role model in the class: listening and following instructions. He always shows respect to his class members. Well done Jacob!
Year 6 - Freya has demonstrated fantastic commitment in performing the harvest rap - such enthusiasm every time! Well done!

Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Shoe Box Dens in Reception Class

The Reception class had great fun last week constructing shoe box dens. They thought about what could be included in the den if they were camping out. The children came up with some fantastic ideas.

Science in Year 6

In Science, this term, Year 6 are investigating properties of different materials. In groups, they tested out a range of potential properties and recorded their findings. They made sure to work scientifically by re-testing their results.

Science in Year 1

Year 1 have been busy in science over the past couple of weeks, learning all about the parts of the human body! We drew around ourselves to make life-size diagrams of the body and practiced labelling the key parts.
