Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!
Reception - Fraser has been chosen for showing this half term's value of determination when writing this week. He kept on going to make sure his letter formations were correct. Year 1 - A child in Year 1 has been chosen for settling into class brilliantly and for trying hard in her phonics. Year 2 - A child in Year 2 has been chosen for showing resilience and keeping on going during her English writing today. Year 3 - Jasmine for excellent progress with her reading. Year 4 - Jessica has been chosen this week for writing an outstanding diary entry from Cleopatra's point of view, including accurate historical events. Year 5 - Oscar for always contributing to class discussions and asking thoughtful questions. Year 6 - Louie has been chosen this week for showing a mature attitude towards his work and remaining focused and demonstrating active learning throughout his spelling investigation.

Every week Mrs Kerr will present code of conduct certificates in our celebration assembly to children who have been caught being responsible, being respectful and being ready!

Today the Y2s from John Wilkinson and Broseley CofE have had a lovely afternoon doing some fun orienteering, working together as a team. Great work everybody!
Year 1 had lots of fun dressing up as Victorian children on Friday. They used slates, did technical drawings, played Victorian games and learnt about the differences between schools now and then.
Thank you very much to @SainsburysBridgnorthSuperstore and Coop Broseley @TeamBroseley for providing our children with a variety of healthy snacks and fruit to enjoy at break time on Thursday. It was great to see so many children trying something new.

This morning Year 6 enjoyed learning athletics skills at William Brookes School. We were so impressed with your determination to master the techniques of the hurdles, shot put, javelin, long jump, discus and high jump!
Last week some of the children attended the Cound kwik cricket tournament, we came a very impressive 3rd!
The children will be coming home this afternoon with their certificates. Well done everyone!
