Reception - Finley has been chosen for applying his phonic knowledge to read simple sentences in his Little Wandle lessons today.
Year 1 - Skye has been absolutely wonderful, kind and respectful 100% of the time.
Year 2 - Jack has been chosen for the fantastic progress he has made in his writing this week.
Year 3 - Edith has been chosen for doing a fantastic piece of independent writing. She was determined to do her very best and this shone through in her writing.
Year 4 - Annabel for always being kind and thoughtful (to everyone!)
Year 5 - Jacob N has been chosen for being helpful in class and listening carefully to instructions.
Year 6 - Sophie has been listening carefully, trying hard and following advice which meant she did well in today's geometry lesson.

Curiosity Corner

The Reception class have been investigating 'Marvellous Machines' and looking at how they work. The children particularly enjoyed hoovering the classroom!
This week we have been enjoying finding out about explorers in Y2. We found out why Christopher Columbus is significant and will be comparing him to Neil Armstrong.
Year 5 are learning about Earth and Space. We worked in groups to present our understanding of how night and day is affected by the Earth's rotation on its axis every 24 hours.
