Reception - Aiden has been chosen for always being kind and helpful in the class. He looks after others and this is noticed around school. Well done! Year 1 - Alfie has been chosen for being such a star since starting and for his kind manner with his friends. You are a ray of sunshine! Year 2 - Toby has been chosen for his super effort and concentration during his writing. Well done! Year 3 - A child in year 3 has been chosen for always being ready, helpful and working hard. They are a great role model for the other children in our school. Keep it up! Year 4 - Jacob has been chosen for his wonderful, mature attitude in lessons and around school. Well done! Year 5 - Zak has been chosen for making a great effort with regular home reading and remembering his reading books every day. Well done! Year 6 - Jessica has been chosen for always being ready to learn and trying her best in everything she does. A true superstar!
Headteacher Awards
Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Curiosity Corner

Year 1 have been learning about maps in Geography. We learnt about the points of a compass and created our own maps of school with compasses to help us find our way to the buried treasure! We found it in forest school!
Dislikes: Treading on lego, waking up early and bananas.

Local News/Events
Did you know we have music teachers from Shropshire Music Service visiting school every week to teach musical instruments? Pupils can choose to learn Guitar, Drums, Keyboard or Woodwind. Shropshire Music Service also run weekly music groups which are completely FREE to attend. Our own Mrs Hughes leads Shropshire Youth Choir for anyone in Year 1 - 6 on a Monday after school at Sundorne Infants, and pupils learning an instrument can join our beginner orchestra ‘Stompers’.
